The Tekscan® Walkway™ system collects pressure distribution to the feet but does so with multiple steps whilst also collecting numerous gait parameters in real time:
These parameters include items such as step length, step velocity, heel contact time, propulsion time amongst many others and will help further aid the assessment and diagnosis process:
Within that we can produce Force v Time graphs.
We can break these down further to tell us what parts of your foot you are loading, for how long, with how much force and how rapidly.
This provides further information on how you are stressing your tissues to inform your treatment plan.
